# Overview

Four steps to your first position.

1. **Create an account.** Sign in with email, a social account, or connect an external wallet.
2. **Earn promo credit.** Refer a friend or connect a bank account to earn promo credit and trade before depositing a dollar. See [Ways to Earn](/getting-started/ways-to-earn.md).
3. **Connect a bank account.** Optional. Connected accounts earn additional promo credit.
4. **Fund your account.** Deposit USDC on Arbitrum to trade beyond your promo balance.
